Okay, so I hope you will be patient with me, but I have a great story to tell...it might be long, but it is worth the reading...

A boy went into a shop looking for a puppy.  The store owner took him to the litter of puppies, and the boy picked each one up and examined them.  After awhile he walked to the store owner and said, "I picked one out.  How much will it cost?" The man gave him the price, and the boy promised to be back in a few days with the money.  "Don't take too long, " said the store owner.  "Puppies like these sell quickly."  The boy smiled and said, "I'm not worried. Mine will still be here."  The boy worked really hard for the money, and a few days came back to the store for his puppy.  He laid a pocketful of wadded bills on the counter, and the store owner gave him permission to pick out a puppy.  The boy reached into the back of the box and pulled out a skinny dog with a limp leg, and turned to leave.  The owner stopped him.  "Don't take that puppy," he objected. "He's crippled, he can't play.  He'll never run with you, or play fetch with you.  Get one of the healthy pups."  "No thank you sir," the boy replied.  "This is exactly the kind of dog I've been looking for."  As the boy turned to leave, the store owner started to speak, but remained silent.  Suddenly he understood.  For extending from the bottom of the boy's trousers was a brace - a brace for his crippled leg.  Why did the boy want the dog?  Because he knew how it felt.  And he knew it was very special.

What enabled Jesus to endure life on earth, and pain and suffering on the cross?  He knew how the people felt, and he knew that they were special. You are precious to him.  So precious that he became like you so that you would come to him.

I think that is awesome. Good thing God loves us for us, even when we are somewhat "crippled" and deficient. I thank God that when He looks at me, He sees something special.  He thinks you are special too.

Wow, two entries back to back...I am shocked.  Today I have had alot of things weighing heavily on my heart, have you ever had one of those days where you seem to be worrying about everything? Anyways, I was reading a new book I bought called "To Fly Again", and I thought you might need to hear these following words as much as I needed to hear them (they meant alot to me):

Worry says, "God doesn't care, and so He won't do anything - I'll have to worry it through."  Faith says, "God does care, and He and I will work it out together.  I'll supply the willingness, and He will supply the power - with that combination we can do anything."

God is big enough to make His decisions and manage His own actions.  He doesn't have to run everything by us before He acts.  He is in charge, and we are not.  If He doesn't need to worry about the current state of affairs (and obviously He doesn't), then neither do we.

Okay, for all those peeps out there who told me they read my Xanga...this one is for you!!!! This semester has been crazy, I have definately had my world turned upside down or have been in one of those twilight zones... Anyways, if I have learned anything from this semester (I have been thinking about this lately) then I would say: don't sweat the small stuff, and be thankful for today.  That is all, just remember....when you feel alone, don't forget God is with you..... God hearts you.

I guess I am not very good at keeping up my Xanga, but seeing as how I don't know of anyone actually reading my ONE xanga entry, I think me and myself will be okay with that....haha. I was so glad to make a better grade than expected in my Calculus class, James Fisher was of much help through my semester with math! He is exactly what I call a servant of Christ. You should meet him, as well as his wife Marin. Anways...my parents were very nice to buy me the Nano IPOD I have been wanting, but it takes alot of time to download a WHOLE CD collection...sheesh. Oh well, what better way to waste your day, except to dowload music. Hope your New Years was pleasant, and hopefully, I will be able to keep up with my Xanga when I come back from this holiday break. For now, I have to pack for my ski trip..... God bless

Today I spent most of my time studying for my Math final. I can't wait to finish that class.... The Harry Potter "Chamber of Secrets" movie was on...you gotta love the original Dumbledore....ooooohhhh, and extended scenes! Last night, I went to see Chronicles of Narnia...it was fantastic! (In my opinion, one of the best movies ever.)  I think it is because of the books, they are wonderful...you should read them. Well, I suppose that is all I have for today....this is my first entry ever...everyone should be pleased, haha. Love to all, and God bless!
